Marshall ED-1 Edward Compressor
The ED1 adds tight sustain to soloing, provides even signal levels when playing staccato or picking, and smoothes out excessive peaks when playing funky and chord strumming. It works cleanly with the playing technique and without annoying pumping. In the style of Edward The Conqueror, it conquers hearts (once you get to know it better...), and is guaranteed to become an indispensable companion for guitar-optimised compression sounds. If the "Compression" control is turned up just a little, the ED1 works as a limiter.
