Class D power amp keeps the weight down
One common complaint about bass amplifiers is that they're quite literally a pain to move around. Some tube bass amps weigh in at darn near 100 lbs.! With the Fender Bassman 800HD you get all the fabulous tone of the classic old tube Fenders but at a very manageable 15 lbs. and a whopping 800 watts! The Class D power amp design has been proving itself in the industry for some time now, and when mixed with Blackface tube preamp it gives you all the touch sensitivity and warmth you expect — without the added chiropractor bill.

XLR LINE OUTPUT
For easy compatibility with external stage and studio performance and recording systems, this bass head features a rear-panel XLR line output with level control knob, ground lift switch, pre/post EQ switch and Silent Recording capability.
EFFECTS LOOP
Use the effects loop to place outboard effects precisely in the signal chain for optimal performance via the Bassman 800 head's rear-panel effects loop with a preamp output jack and power amp input jack.
FOOTSWITCH
