IRIS 2

iZotope Iris 2 is iZotope’s inspiring sample-based synthesizer, combining the power of a sampler, the flexibility of a modular synth, and the fun of spectral filtering. It generates sound by playing back up to four audio files at once, allowing you to mix instrument samples, found sounds, and synthesizer waves into nearly unlimited combinations. The unique Spectrogram interface lets you manipulate your audio by “painting” in filters, unlocking creative filtering possibilities that would be impossible with traditional synthesizer controls.

 

R2

The Exponential Audio R2 reverb plug-in is a reverb with attitude. In many ways, it harkens back to classic reverbs of the 80s and 90s. The reverb tail is fat and full of movement. The chorus controls can even add subtle (or unsubtle) pitch effects. Whether it's a choir or a power ballad,

 

R2 adds a rich character to the mix. But it doesn't end there. Like its little brother PhoenixVerb, R2 can also create rooms and plates of its own. The gate control has found special applications as an auto-ducker for dialog mixers or even for traditional mixes keeping the reverb under control. R2 is a traditional reverb with a modern attitude.

 

R2 has also been designed with ease of use as a primary concern. The most important parameters are always available, and a richer set of controls are available only a click away. Presets are organized with application-specific keywords, and the user can easily create new presets and keywords to tailor R2 to the needs of any particular facility.

R2 also supports external controllers that use the EuCon control. R2 can now be driven and automated directly from the channel strips of Avid and EuPhonix consoles. Whether the user is a weekend warrior or a busy professional, R2 fits into that user's workflow.

Now with the Version 2 update, R2 provides additional options. These include automatic CPU load management and a new Favorites list.

 

EXCALIBUR

There's nothing like the Exponential Audio Excalibur. It's the plug-in that creates whole new worlds. Need a classical delay unit with feedback and EQ? Need to sync it to tempo? It's right here. Need a chorus to fatten an instrumental part? Or a flanger that goes from mild to wild? That's all in Excalibur. Maybe you need a distorter. Or pitch shifter. Need to do bit reduction to model an old processor? How about a resonant filter for 'wah' effects? Or a resonator for truly spooky worlds? Maybe a little reverb? Or a phaser? This is the place.

These are all great effects all by themselves. But the real power of Excalibur is the way effects can be combined and modulated. There are 4 signal chains (called Voices) that can be treated independently or looped through one another. Most parameters can be modulated from a huge list of modulators - LFOs, input/output levels, soft controls on the GUI - to make effects that are dynamic. They respond to the signal. They respond to tempo.

Excalibur is deep. But you don't have to do it all yourself. There are over 500 presets waiting for you. You'll find autopanners, guitar cabinets, rich flangers, chorused reverbs, telephone futzes, vintage echo effects and much much more. And you don't have to wait around for your output. With under a millisecond of latency, Excalibur is perfectly at home in a live rack or a studio. It's powerful, fast and efficient.

 

PHOENIXVERB

"The best reverb plug-in" is what many leading producers and audio engineers say about the Exponential Audio PhoenixVerb. It has been designed with audio purity in mind. The tail has none of the pitch effects or periodic artifacts that are part of other reverbs. Its effect with small room settings can be almost invisible, subtly placing the source material into a natural space without screaming "reverb".

PhoenixPlates are tight and diffuse, complementing both percussion and vocal tracks. Chambers and halls are excellent for complex material and have been used in a growing number of major film releases. Those same attributes have shown themselves to be popular in classical, rock and jazz releases.

PhoenixVerb has also been designed with ease of use as a primary concern. The most important parameters are always available, and a richer set of controls is available only a click away.
